About Your Hosts

Sonny Shrivastava was born in the Czech Republic and came to the US when he was only one year old. His family initially arrived in Denver where they lived for a few years before finally settling in the San Francisco Bay Area. Sonny’s educational background is in theatre and graphic design. He started his career as Creative Director for several hot startups in Silicon Valley. He eventually launched and ran his own successful boutique graphic design firm in Seattle for several years before moving to the Phoenix area with his partner Emmett. Sonny has been a licensed REALTOR^® in Arizona since March 2007. He began his real estate career long before, however, as a property investor in California and later in the Seattle area. Sonny resides in the West Valley with his partner, three cats and five dogs. Sonny is currently a REALTOR^® with West USA Realty.

Daniella Hauptmann was born and raised in Chicago. She graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in Human Resources and a minor in International Business. She started her career with Arthur Andersen as a corporate trainer and then moved on to a software company when Andersen closed (no, she didn’t shred anything!). In 2000 Daniella found her passion for real estate when she started buying and selling investment properties. After spending countless summers with her family in Phoenix and falling in love with the area, she decided to sell her home, quit her job and move to Phoenix. She received her real estate license in April 2007 which is when she and Sonny met. When the market was taking a turn for the worse Sonny and Daniella formed an unstoppable team, focusing on bank owned listings and short sales. Daniella and her husband Steven are avid travelers who have been to over 20 countries on 5 continents. Daniella resides in the West Valley with her husband, 2 cats, a dog and soon their baby girl who is due in January 2010! Daniella is currently a REALTOR^® with West USA Realty.

Jesse Singh is the President and Co-Founder of 1st Rate Home Mortgage, Inc. Jesse was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved to Arizona to attend ASU, graduating from the WP Carey School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Jesse has several years experience as a top mortgage originator, team leader, trainer, and mortgage advisor. He has always had a knack for numbers and this ability has lead to the success of 1st Rate Home Mortgage. Jesse’s dedication to his clients, employees, partners, and his company is unquestionable. His reputation is reason why 1st Rate Home Mortgage Inc. continues to grow in this market. The people that know Jesse the best would describe him as a control freak (in a good way), dependable, and sincere. Currently, Jesse resides in the east valley and maintains offices in Arizona, Washington, Oregon, and California.
